so it looks like another roadtrip is imminent.
destination, los angeles.
means, rented cadillac.
temporary neck tattoos, mandatory.
hyped on the time off, it'll be the 17th - jan 3rd. need to rest + catch up on logistical pieces of my life, bills, giving bella a haircut, cleaning; it's hott like that.
these past 4 months have been pretty out there, it's nice to get through the stress without too much permadam. i may take some stuff next semester, but it'll be one of those last second deal, like most of my decisions.

i think i've duped myself back into thinking i could work something out with a lady from the past. the reality of any relationship is once it's gone through something, it's fucked. is that cynical or is it realistic? as my boy adonis would say there's "no way back". things are dope to start, they go great, and if there's something that goes down, there's no way to go back to the moment before it. maybe my thousands of readers are thinking a collective "no chit", but it always takes me a bit longer to come to that realization. i like to work on things that aren't easy, mostly personalities...the pattern is pretty specific to my taste in females. not sure where that comes from, choosing the easy would be more logical, but those are the ones that i quickly lose interest in. self-destructive tendencies anyone?

bry, patrick, + i went to go eat at jody's new restaurant last night before the blue genie art bazaar. there was a table of this new breed of kids who have grown into their early to mid 20s. you've seen them. maybe they're more prevalent in austin for some reason, but what's with the emo-sleeves + frosted hair? it'd be unique if there was a table and one guy had the look, but there were about 10 folks at a table and the 4 males looked like they went into urban outfitters, bought their clothes, had somebody spraypaint their arms with tattoos, and do their hair as a complete outfit for $210.56 ($199.00 of which was spent on their diesel jeans). it's all over this town + it's bizarre (check the homonym). one day, there will be an aging population of look alikes, with the same shit on their arms, the same star tattoo on their elbows; i'm just confused as to when fashion became so permanent. isn't fashion an idea of temporality.
anyways, they were the ones sitting with girls, so i guess that says something.
